1IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — A man wanted for the brutal murder of a family of four in upstate New York last summer was arrested Wednesday in the Dominican Republic, U.S. Marshals announced this week.
Luis Soriano, 31, also known as Jefry Yevo, had been sought by the Irondequoit Police Department in connection with a quadruple homicide that occurred on Aug. 31 in the Rochester suburb. He is charged with four counts of second-degree murder, along with arson, burglary, kidnapping, and narcotics offenses.
Police discovered the bodies of Fraime Ubaldo, 30, Marangely Moreno Santiago, 26, and their children, Evangeline, 4, and Sebastian, 2, after responding to a house fire on Knapp Avenue on the morning of the crime. The victims were found in the basement.
