GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WBTW) -- Habitat for Humanity for Georgetown County held its 3rd annual "Hooked on Habitat Inshore Slam" fishing tournament Saturday.

Anglers began their day bright and early at the Carroll A. Campbell Marina Complex boat landing in Georgetown.

The event had both a saltwater and freshwater division for Redfish, Sea Trout, Flounder and Largemouth Bass.

Each boat was a $200 entry fee, and all proceeds go toward building safe and affordable housing for local families in need. Winners for each division and contest won money and prizes.

Judy Boone's provided meals for the captain's meeting. Kona Ice, Black Cat Kitchen and Wing Kings provided food and treats during the weigh-in ceremony.

Organizers say they look forward to next year's event.
