AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - One of several suspects has been sentenced to confinement and probation in a Richmond County case from 2022 involving a woman being forced to live in a dog cage as a “sex slave.”

The key offender killed herself in jail more than two years ago. But she was just one of several people charged.

After multi-state manhunt, double-murder suspect arrested in CSRA

The Taliaferro County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man who’d set off a multi-state manhunt after allegedly killing his parents.

One of those suspects, Anjelika Figueroa, 32, was sentenced last week to 15 years in prison and 24 years of probation after admitting to several of the charges against her. We’re working to learn whether the terms are concurrent or consecutive.
