GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville Zoo announced that its mother Masai giraffe has given birth to a new baby.

Autumn gave birth just after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, and the baby is alert and standing, the zoo said.

A medical exam on Monday revealed the calf is six feet one inch tall and weighs 132 pounds.

He has not yet been released outside for public viewing.
