RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) working with Join Together Northern Nevada (JTNN), Reno Housing Authority and Our Center to show a screening of a documentary called “Screenagers: Under the Influence.” It examines the impact of our digital age on teens’ decision making in relation to substances like vaping, drugs and alcohol. Lisa Sheretz, health educator with NNPH, and Stacey Spain, executive director of Our Center, stopped by Morning Break to talk about the importance of understanding the messaging and the message platforms that kids and teens are getting through their phones, TV and gaming consoles.
