Jul. 23—State Police are searching the path Luciano Frattolin may have taken along the Northway before his daughter was found dead this weekend.

Troopers said Wednesday they would be patrolling the highway from Exit 20 near Lake George to Exit 28 near Ticonderoga due to the ongoing investigation, and asked drivers to avoid the area.

State Police asked for the public’s help Tuesday in investigating the death of Melina Galanis Frattolin, the 9-year-old Canadian citizen whose reported disappearance triggered an Amber Alert and a frantic regionwide search before her father was later arrested and charged with her murder.
