A man was indicted on a felony charge this week after Killeen police said that one of their own was struck by a truck that had veered onto a sidewalk.
On Wednesday, a Bell County grand jury indicted Christopher Michael Pearson on a charge of collision involving injury, which is a violation under the Texas Transportation Code that is punishable by one year in the county jail and up to five years in prison.
Pearson, 33, was booked into the Bell County Jail on July 9, and was being held on Thursday with a bond of $200,000, listed.
