On Tuesday, June 24 th , 2025, at approximately 0433 hours, New York City Police Department ( NYPD ) police officers responded to a 911 call of a person, shot at 1836 Cedar Avenue, within the confines of the 46 th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
