COLLINSVILLE, Ill. - The Collinsville Walmart employee who allegedly stabbed their co-worker with a knife has been charged with first-degree murder, prosecutors say.

The suspect, now identified as 19-year-old Kelvin Fuller, also faces two counts of aggravated battery in relation to the incident.

According to the Collinsville Police Department (CPD), the stabbing took place at the Walmart Supercenter just off of 1040 Collinsville Crossing Boulevard before 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

When officials arrived at the scene, they located an employee suffering from multiple stab wounds to her neck and back. The victim was taken to the hospital for her injuries and is in stable condition.
