SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota House Republicans have requested a federal audit of the Minnesota Department of Human Services, describing a "culture of fraud" in Medicaid programs requiring "federal intervention."

Four GOP state lawmakers sent a letter this week to the Office of Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, including House Fraud Oversight Committee Chair Kristin Robbins, House Speaker Lisa Demuth, and representatives Jeff Backer and Joe Schomacker.
