GLENDALE, Ariz. — Trey McBride put together one of the best tight end seasons of all time last year.

He's now being paid like it and being respected like it.

He signed a record-breaking (at the time) contract extension in April, took on a starring role at Tight End University in June, and went on trips to Colorado and southern California in July to cap a busy offseason.

As McBride enters year four in the NFL with increased fame, he said he's still the same guy and is still driven by the same factors.

“Obviously, you get recognized a little bit more, but honestly, I feel the exact same," he said on the first day of training camp. "I feel like I’m 22 (years old) coming into this league, just trying to learn, trying to grow as a person, trying to grow as a player.”
