PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - As Bradley heads into the 2025-26 campaign with plenty of new faces on the roster, the man leading them will stay the same.

It was announced on social media that Brian Wardle, who has led the team since 2015, has signed a contract extension with the program for the foreseeable future. The Braves are 186-147 overall in those 10 seasons, including two MVC tournament titles in 2018 and 2019, and a regular season title in 2023.

In the post, officials did not specify how long the extension would run for.

Wardle’s legacy in Peoria is strong, especially with his eldest daughter, Mya, now playing for the Braves’ Women’s Basketball team. His legacy extends beyond Bradley as his other daughter, Emy, is a soccer and basketball star at Peoria Notre Dame.
