GLENDALE, Ariz. — As they navigate the early, non-padded portion of training camp, Calais Campbell and Kelvin Beachum rarely cross paths during practice.

Campbell is working with the defensive line, while Beachum spends his time with the offensive line.

Yet when the pads come off and you listen to both of them talk, it's clear their paths are quite similar.

“I definitely feel like I’m way older than the rookies,” Campbell said.

“I was warming up before the warmup. So I got the warmup before the warmup before the warmup,” Beachum added.

Their bodies may not be as nimble as they once were, but they are far from numb.

The Cardinals two older statesmen are just happy to be back for another season .

“I get to learn from him. I’m not the old guy in the room anymore,” Beachum joked.
