UK Blue Badge holders issues message if going on holiday abroad

If you have a physical disability or health condition that affects your ability to walk safely, or you suffer from a hidden illness such as dementia, autism or Parkinson's, you might be eligible for a Blue Badge. This badge allows you to park closer to your destination, whether you're the driver or a passenger.

It grants free parking in disabled bays and may exempt you from other parking restrictions. However, many of the 2.6 million Blue Badge holders across the UK may not know that numerous countries worldwide have reciprocal parking arrangements with the UK.
