Tyronne Walker , vice president of policy, strategic partnerships and development for the Urban League of Louisiana , is leaving the organization.

Walker is returning to full-time consulting. He has been with the Urban League of Louisiana for three years.

Baton Rouge

Ty Bofferding has been hired as executive director of public and government affairs for the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association .

Bofferding is the senior adviser to U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-Baton Rouge, and serves as communications director for the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions.

He earned a bachelor's in international affairs from The George Washington University, Elliot School of International Affairs.
