One person was killed and another was wounded on U.S. Highway 90 B early Sunday morning, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

The shooting was reported to police at 1:03 a.m. Police said at least two males were hit by gunfire, one of which died. The other made it to a local hospital, police said.

Police did not immediately release more information, including the ages of the victims.
