AUSTIN / TEMPLE, Texas (FOX 44) - The Texas General Land Office (GLO) and the Veterans Land Board (VLB) are hosting the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home in Temple.

According to the GLO, the event will take place this Monday, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m, at 1424 Martin Luther King Jr. Lane. The celebrations will feature keynote speakers - including Texas Land Commissioner and VLB Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham, M.D., and Tony Dale, Executive Secretary of the VLB.

The event will commemorate the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home's commitment to serving Veterans in the Temple community. Refreshments and desserts will be served.
