HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police said a suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old boy in west Houston last week.
Cameron Clark Jackson, 27, has been charged with murder after the shooting took place just after 3 p.m. on August 10.
HPD says officers responded to a home in the 1200 block of Ashford Meadow Drive and found the victim, identified as Za'Wight Johnson, suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital, where he later died, officials said.
Officers said they found evidence of a shooting in the townhome complex's parking lot and learned that the teen was sitting in the living room when the shooting happened.
