GLENDALE, Ariz. — Less than a week into Training Camp, the Arizona Cardinals learned they will be without a key player on defense for the entire 2025-26 season.
Third-year cornerback Starling Thomas V is out for the year with a torn ACL, an injury he sustained during the team’s third practice at State Farm Stadium. Thomas, who came into the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2023, has started 22 of the 29 games he’s appeared in for Arizona.
Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon believes the players in the corner back room will embrace the challenge to fill a void on the depth chart.
