ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A community is still mourning but came together Sunday for a memorial bike ride honoring Rosanna Breuninger, a woman who was tragically killed after being struck while riding her bike in Albuquerque’s North Valley. Although her case remains unsolved, her friends and loved ones have not given up hope. They believe this ride is a way to heal and raise awareness.
“We didn't realize the amount of friends, of people, acquaintances that she had made over the years. And just the support, whether they're here or not, it's just been overwhelming. And that's really helped us get through this tough time,” said Rosanna’s sister, Wendolyn Murphy.
In 2023, Breuninger was returning home after spending time with friends in downtown Albuquerque when she was struck by a vehicle
