Robert Bedley fired a hole-in-one on No. 7 of the South Course of Whitefish Lake Golf Club on Wednesday.

Bedley used a 6-iron to cover the 171 yards from the white tees to the cup. Witnessing the ace were Cora Bedley, Jessica O’Hearne and Charlie Hinchey.

Laurel golfers take titles for Mid-Am, Super Seniors

LAUREL — Ashley Cortez completed a two-round comeback on Saturday while Deb Porcarelli and Sue Matson finished with wire-to-wire wins at the Montana State Women’s Mid-Amateur, Senior and Super-Senior Championships at the Laurel Golf Club.

Cortez and Matson, both hometown golfers, each earned one-stroke victories.

In the Mid-Amateur, Cortez followed up her tournament low score of 5-over 77 in the second round with a third round 81. Her total of 243 edged out Heather Biggerstaff, who
