Sean Brennan’s strong start gave the Glacier Range Riders their second win in a row as they defeated the Billings Mustangs 6-1 Wednesday at Glacier Bank Park.

Gabe Powell started the scoring for the Range Riders (10-10 in second half) with an RBI single in the second inning. The bats continued to stay hot as TJ Clarkson followed up with another single to score Jack Lynch. It didn’t stop there as Logan Beard grounded out to a double play and brought Powell home to extend the lead to 3-0.

The Mustangs (9-11) scored their only run of the game in the third inning when John McHenry’s sacrifice fly, scorring Efrain Manzo to narrow the deficit 3-1.

Glacier continued their success at the plate in the fourth inning with a sacrifice fly from Xavier Casserilla. The Mustangs then walked Jake Millan
