Andre Jackson II came up big with a two-run walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th to give the Joplin Outlaws an 8-7 win against the Abilene Flying Bison. It was the first game of their best-of-three Mid-America League championship Thursday in Abilene, Texas.
The game was a rematch of last year's championship in which the Outlaws prevailed 11-4 in a single-game playoff. Under this year's expanded playoff, the Outlaws can wrap up another title when they play Friday night. ×
