INDIANAPOLIS —

The man accused of stalking Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark pleaded guilty on Monday.

Michael Lewis, 55, was arrested in January after investigators said he sent sexually explicit and threatening messages to Clark through social media. Advertisement

With time served credit, Lewis was sentenced Monday to a little more than a year and a half in prison at the Marion County Adult Detention Center.

According to court documents, the account that Lewis allegedly used was traced to an IP address at the Hilton Garden Hotel in Indianapolis and another IP address at the downtown Indianapolis Public Library.

At the time of his arrest earlier this year, Lewis was a resident of Denton, Texas, and told police that he was on vacation in Indiana.
