BALL, La. (KALB) - Former Tioga Indian Kelvin Franklin II has familiarity with winning football games in Central Louisiana.
“Just winning for the first time at Tioga,” Franklin said about his favorite memories as a player. “Going to the playoffs for the first time since 1998. Just remembering legacy and history.”
Now back living in his hometown, Franklin is helping write the legacy of the next generation of players.
“When giving that shot at coaching, that’s when I had the idea man, I want to do a camp,” Franklin said.
Franklin’s weekly camps are free at Ward 10 Sports Complex, where kids from Pre-K through high school can work on their conditioning and football skills.
