Cap’n Taco , located at 16099 Brookpark Road, is an institution on Cleveland's west side and will be closing its doors in two weeks. Since 1976, the modest drive-thru Mexican restaurant has been the source of countless taco, enchilada, burrito and tostada dinners. The last day of service will be Tuesday, August 12.

"It was not our decision. The property was sold and they do not wish to renew our lease," said management.

In a statement, the owners thanked their customers for decades of support.
