In late July, President Trump signed three executive orders relating to artificial intelligence as part of the administration’s push to deregulate AI and promote its use. One of those executive orders, titled “ Preventing Woke AI in the Federal Government ,” directed government agencies to not contract with AI model developers for models that “manipulate responses in favor of ideological dogmas such as DEI.”
