NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police have arrested two teenagers who are accused of robbing a man Tuesday morning in downtown Nashville.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the victim—only identified as a 23-year-old man from Indiana—was robbed at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Broadway at approximately 3 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29.
The victim allegedly told authorities that one of the teens threatened him with what he thought was a gun before making him walk to a nearby ATM and withdraw $200. He added that the teens grabbed the cash, his cellphone and ran away.
At some point, officers reportedly spotted the duo near the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Rep. John Lewis Way after seeing that they matched the description of two robbery suspects.
