MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A domestic violence suspect is behind bars after allegedly kicking in his ex-girlfriend's front door.

The incident happened Saturday in Millersville around 10:30 pm. That's when police responded to a call from neighbors of a disturbance at a local apartment complex.

When Millersville police officers spoke with the victim, the 22-year-old was badly shaken and crying.

"What's going on? Are you ok?" an officer asked when the victim opened her door.

The woman told officers that her ex-boyfriend, 38-year-old Reinier Hernandez, banged on her door, and when she didn't answer it, he began kicking it in.

Once inside the house, officers said that Hernandez put his hands on the young woman and even slapped her face.
