WESTPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut State Police say former WWE CEO Vince McMahon was issued a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving after allegedly causing a multi-vehicle crash on the Merritt Parkway last week.
According to an accident report from Connecticut State Police, the three-vehicle crash happened in the area of Exit 41 on Route 15 North around 9:22 a.m. on July 24.
State police said 79-year-old McMahon was driving a 2024 Bentley Continental GT Speed when he allegedly rear-ended a 2023 BMW 430 in the lane in front of him.
His car then hit the median wood beam guardrail, sending debris over the center median, which a 2020 Ford Fusion collided with in the southbound lanes.
