Waymo, a company known for its fully autonomous ride-share se rvices, announced plans to come to Dallas next year.

Rental car company Avis Budget Group will be managing the Waymo fleet in Dallas, via a new partnership the companies announced Monday.

"The Waymo and Avis partnership will offer an innovative, technology-based transportation option for our residents and visitors. We look forward to the launch of this new service,” Kimberly Bizor Tolbert, Dallas city manager, said in a statement.
