First responders put out a 3-alarm fire on the Texas Woman's University campus in Denton Thursday morning.
According to the Denton Fire Department, the fire began just after 10 a.m. in the 700 block of Administration Drive.

The affected building, the Health Science Center, was still under construction and originally set to welcome students this fall.
Around 11 a.m., the fire was contained in the attic/roof area with no construction crew injuries.

Roof temperatures of approximately 150 degrees plus firefighter gear led to multiple firefighters receiving treatment on the scene for heat exhaustion. Two have been transported to local ho
