Spent the 2024 season on the Texans practice squad…improvement was notable in OTA/minicamp, but this is such a deep/talented position…Byrd will need to be outstanding consistently to line up across from Anderson Jr, Hunter et al. in game action in the future…he'll compete, that much I know…has the pass rush acumen for sure and the preseason games will be huge for him to show how much he's progressed.
