Mayor Eric Adams on Tuesday vetoed the City Council’s decision to deny land use changes needed for a proposed casino spearheaded by Bally’s in The Bronx.
The mayor’s unusual move now provides a potential lifeline for the proposal to construct a $4 billion, 500,000-square-foot gaming hall at its golf course at Ferry Point Park in Throggs Neck, along with a 500-room hotel with a spa and meeting space, retail shops, a 2,000-seat event center and two
