High Noon is recalling certain cans of its vodka seltzers that were incorrectly labeled as Celsius energy drinks. The recall was announced after the company discovered that some of its Beach Variety packs contained cans filled with High Noon vodka seltzer, but were mislabeled as Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition. The affected cans have a silver top, which distinguishes them from the correct Celsius cans that feature a black top.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported that the recall notice was posted on July 29. The affected products were shipped to retailers in several states, including Florida, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin, between July 21 and July 23. High Noon stated that the mix-up occurred due to a shared packaging supplier that mistakenly sent empty Celsius cans to them.

The recall specifically affects High Noon Beach Variety Packs that contain 12 fluid ounce cans. The lot codes for the recalled products are L CCC 17JL25 and L CCC 18JL25, with specific time frames noted for each. Consumers are advised to check the exterior of the 12-pack for these lot codes. The recalled Celsius cans have a UPC of 8 89392 00134 1 and are marked with the lot code L CCB 02JL25.

High Noon has confirmed that no illnesses or injuries have been reported in connection with this recall. The company emphasized that consuming the mislabeled cans could lead to unintentional alcohol ingestion, as the High Noon vodka seltzer has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 4.5%. Consumers who have purchased the affected products are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
