ATLANTA, Ga. - An Atlanta cop who made headlines in a high-profile 2020 slaying has been charged in connection with a bar fight last month.

Around 1:30 a.m. on June 29, Atlanta police responded to X Midtown at 990 Piedmont Avenue NE.

Officials released bodycam footage they say shows a South Carolina deputy being rescued with emergency doses of Narcan after collapsing from fentanyl exposure.

There, they learned an argument between 52-year-old Raefeael Penrice and Atlanta Police Officer Garrett Rolfe had turned physical.

Rolfe was off duty at the time of the incident, according to police.
