SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Not only is tomorrow the start of fall camp for Notre Dame football, but it also marks one month until the Irish get their regular season started at Miami.

The biggest question coming into this season is the quarterback situation.

For the first time in a couple seasons, the Irish did not get a transfer quarterback to come in. Instead, they’re relying on two QBs they’ve recruited and developed in house: CJ Carr and Kenny Minchey.

Both have seen limited game action, with neither having a start yet, but both have shown incredible flashes of promise — especially in the spring game.

During my one-on-one interview with Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman, I asked him what stands out about each QB heading into 2025.
