LACONIA — Councilors agreed during their meeting on Monday night to write a letter supporting the Laconia Housing Authority as they seek grant funding to fill an anticipated shortfall in a program which helps residents remain in their own homes.
The Congregate Housing Services Program allows organizations like Laconia Housing to provide meals and other supportive services needed by elderly or disabled residents who live in subsidized housing, in order to ensure they remain in compliance at their properties.
