Two men were killed blocks apart in overnight shootings in the St. Roch neighborhood Thursday, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

The shootings were also reported less than 10 minutes apart, at 4:16 and 4:24 a.m. Investigators are working to determine if the homicides are related.

The first victim was shot at least once was found in the intersection of Mandeville and N. Miro streets. He died on the scene.

Another man who was shot at least once was found in the 1600 block of Franklin Avenue. He also died at the scene.

Police shared no further information about either shooting.
