The Everett AquaSox completed a three-run comeback against the league-leading Eugene Emeralds on Tuesday night to earn their fifth win in the last six games. After trailing 4-1 in the eighth inning, Everett’s offense came alive to score five runs in the frame and one in the ninth in a 7-4 win.

The win moves Everett to 50-47 as the NWL first-half champs are 13-18 in the second half and in third place overall.

Josh Caron’s (1-for-5, HR, 2 RBI, 2 runs) sixth-inning solo homer to left center field led to Everett’s only score of the first two-thirds of the game. The AquaSox brought just three hits into the eighth inning, a figure they would match in that frame alone.
