Twelve RVs destroyed, CFD states

Fire crews from Chandler and Phoenix assisted Gila River firefighters in fighting a July 30 blaze in an industrial area, the Chandler Fire Department said.

Crews responded to assist with a working fire inside a recreational vehicle storage facility in an area near Kyrene Road and Loop 202, Chandler Fire stated. Firefighters arrived to find one fully involved RV with flames already extending to several others.

There were 12 RVs lost in the fire. There were no injuries to report at the scene, Chandler Fire stated.

No mention was made of any suspected cause.
