ASHBURN, Va. — Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is the first to fully capture the hearts and minds of the team’s fan base in a while, but in doing so, he’s joining a line of those who came before him.

Three names stand out among Commanders fans: Doug Williams, Joe Theismann, and Mark Rypien.

All three men led Washington to Super Bowl wins, and all three have confidence that the current quarterback has the potential to do the same.
