PHOENIX — The 2025 MLB Trade Deadline is almost at an end and the look of the Arizona Diamondbacks' roster continues to change.
In a move before the end of the deadline, Arizona traded pitcher Merrill Kelly to the Texas Rangers, reports said.
Baseball insider Jeff Passan shared the news minutes before the end of the trade deadline.
Early reports indicated Texas was sending three players to the D-backs for the veteran pitcher.
Later Thursday afternoon, D-backs insider Nick Piecoro revealed the three players sent to Arizona were pitching prospects Kohl Drake, Mitch Bratt and David Hagaman.
