A number of areas across the UK - including Glasgow - have been warned that Storm Floris could be heading their way with 88 regions and local authorities listed by weather experts. The fresh warning comes from the Met Office who are alerting people to two dates this month as they issue a yellow warning.

On August 4 and 5, the weather is set to take a dramatic turn with a yellow weather warning issued for wind with the warning set to remain in place from 6am on Monday until 6am on Tuesday. Experts from the Met Office state: "Storm Floris is likely to bring a spell of unseasonably strong and potential disruptive winds to northern UK on Monday into early Tuesday."
