CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (WFLA) -- SpaceX will try again Friday to send up four astronauts to the International Space Station after Thursday's launch attempt was cancelled due to weather.
Two NASA astronauts - Zena Cardman and Michael E. Fincke - join Japanese astronaut Kimya Yui and Russian cosmonaut Oleg Platonov for the Crew-11 mission.
SpaceX is targeting 11:43 a.m. for the launch, which will take place at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral. A Falcon 9 rocket will carry the Dragon capsule to space, where Dragon will separate from the rocket and continue on to the ISS.
"During their time on the orbiting laboratory, the crew will conduct new research to prepare for human exploration beyond low-Earth orbit and to benefit humanity on Earth," SpaceX said of the mission.
