Private family services for the late Fred Kiyoshi Tanaka, 93-year-old, Los Angeles, Calif.-born, resident of Anaheim, who passed away peacefully on June 28, were held at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Noriaki Ito from Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.

He is survived by his loving family: wife, Yuriko Tanaka; son, Dr. Thomas (Dianne) Tanaka; daughter, Karen (Thomas) Uyematsu; grandchildren, Lindsay (Nate), Shaye, Taryn, Nathaniel (Abigail), and Natalie; nieces and nephews, Masayuki Tanaka, Doris Tanaka, Elaine (Steve) Jackson, and Gary (Mika) Nishimura; he is also survived by other relatives here and in Japan.
