A Vidor man has been arrested and charged with Murder after Vidor Police say a woman was shot and killed inside a house late Thursday night.

Police said they arrived to find the suspect, 64-year-old Robert Howerton, outside the house and inside they found the woman’s body.

The name of the woman has not yet been released.
