Two people are dead after a late Thursday night crash in Hardin County. It happened at about 11:30 on Farm to Market Road 92 a few miles north of Silsbee.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says a person driving a Honda Accord was leaving a gas station parking lot and pulled out in front of and was hit by a tow-truck which was traveling northbound on FM 92.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, while a passenger in the car died a short time later at St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

The names have not yet been released.
