Crop agronomics, weed control and disease management are among the topics that will be covered during the annual field day at North Dakota State University’s Carrington Research Extension Center (CREC) – Oakes Irrigation Research Site on Aug. 7. The field day consists of a tour of the site and select research being conducted this season.
Mike Ostlie, director of the CREC, says the site has undergone many changes over the past year, and he’s excited to show participants what the space has to offer.
The tour starts at 9 a.m. with a free morning refreshment sponsored by Starion Bank.
