OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Police have barricaded a North Omaha neighborhood Friday morning as they work on making an arrest.
Omaha Police and U.S. Marshals went to a home near 42nd Street and Sorensen Parkway, but weren’t allowed in, prompting a standoff at around 9:15 a.m.
First Alert 6 is at the scene and heard OPD negotiators asking someone to give themselves up.
Some time after 11 a.m., a DoorDash delivery driver turned up at the scene with a pizza ordered by a neighbor. As they weren’t allowed to cross into the barricaded area, an OPD officer completed the food delivery.
